The Wall Street Journal has reorganized its newsroom with a focus on digital and mobile initiatives. The Institute for Media Strategies is delighted to be part of this initiative, which the Journal is calling “WSJ2020”.
The 128-year old newspaper said the reorganisation will transform the company into a mobile-first news operation.
In an memo to staff, editor-in-chief Gerard Baker noted that audience data and insights were driving the project and that the changes would encompass content and products, workflow, people, and technology.
